About Me

Training, Experience & Qualifications

I received my MA in Transpersonal Psychology from Naropa University in 2003 and am a licensed Psychotherapist with the State of Colorado. My license number is # 5063. I serve as adjunct faculty in the Graduate Programs at Naropa University, at Iliff School of Theology and The Benet Hill Spiritual Formation Program. I am trained as a Prepare/Enrich counselor through Life Innovations which focuses on couples counseling.

A significant part of my life experience was the battle our family faced when our four year old son was diagnosed with malignant brain cancer in 1989. Through the years of his struggle we were touched by many amazing individuals who taught us the reality of love, suffering and non-judgmental compassion. A part of the journey was shared with Katy Tartakoff and The Children's Legacy which resulted in the publication at "An Alphabet about Kids with Cancer."
